Nicole James

There is something deeply satisfying about beginning with a simple piece of clay, shaping it by hand, and watching it transform through fire into something lasting and beautiful.

Nicole creates thoughtfully crafted ceramics for both everyday use and quiet enjoyment. Working primarily on the wheel with stoneware clays, her pieces balance function and form, designed to be lived with as much as admired. Her aesthetic leans toward classic silhouettes and refined glazes, occasionally lifted by touches of oxide brushwork that bring a sense of play and individuality.

Each piece reflects a commitment to simplicity, craftsmanship, and the enduring appeal of objects made slowly and with care.
